Scope of Position


As a Partnership Development Officer, you will work closely with the Regional Head - Partnership Development of Oxfam India and provide support in scale-up strategic partnerships with Corporations and Institutions. Registrations for the Oxfam India Trailwalker - flagship event of Oxfam, availing sponsorships, conducting promotional campaigns and networking will be a primary responsibility of the role.


Key Responsibilities


Bring in New businesses in form of teams by approaching corporates to send their employees to participate in the event


Nurturing key relationships to maximize fundraising in Trail walker


Acquiring sponsors for Trail walker event by approaching various corporates and brands.


Responsible for getting partners on pro bono basis, in kind and cash sponsorships for checkpoints


Create and maintain a database of the corporates in the region


Providing high quality customer/ donor service and support to Trail walker event participants and supporters through direct contact.


Enable the overall target of Partnership Development Vertical including number of team registration and fund raising for Trail walker event


Volunteer recruiting target (for Medical, Physio & General)


To ensure complete support for flawless execution of 3 day event


Devise ideas for cause-related marketing partnerships with corporates of the region


Be open to making cold calls


Preparation of MIS and updating it to the line manager on weekly basis.


Raise funds for Oxfam India's Humanitarian work and through other channels such as CSR.


Be innovative and proactively identify opportunities for Oxfam

Required Candidate profile

Qualifications and Experience

Proven success in sales, generation of new business leads along with exceptional account management skills

Minimum work experience of 4 years and must have at least 2 years' experience in fund-raising or business development

Must be result-oriented, proactive, and hardworking; and have an enthusiastic approach to work.

Very strong communication skills, client-friendly personality and ability to manage pressure well

Excellent analytical skills, motivated, hard-working and self-driven leader

Minimum qualification graduation but candidates with MBA degree will be preferred.

Knowledge of local languages will be a plus (Marathi)

Experience in brand activations will be an added advantage

Good network in the local geography with HR, CSR, and Marketing heads

Relocation

During the course of employment the post holder may be required to move base on a temporary or permanent basis to any workplace controlled by Oxfam India

Travel


Ability to travel within country and abroad as required.
